About Author

Born in Istanbul in 1971, Erol B. Abay graduated from Yildiz University Computer Engineering as the first in the department, the first in the faculty and the second in the university. In the years he started his career, he completed his master's degree (MSc) in the Department of Computer Engineering at Bogazici University and, after becoming a manager, he completed his MBA at Imperial College.

He worked as a manager in the IT departments of various banks and telecommunication companies for 25 years. He used the analytical mindset gaining in this profession on subjects such as the mysteries of ancient times and the history of religions, which he was interested in as a hobby, which enabled him to look at the researches in these fields from different perspectives.

Since it was not his professional field, he thought that it would be better to share his thoughts and findings on these issues with large audiences through a novel, so he wrote Return of The Ark. He says that his admiration for authors such as Umberto Eco, Jose Rodrigues Dos Santos and Dan Brown had a great influence on his choice of such a path.

In this first novel, he succeeded in presenting an alternative location of a religious object, which is described in the holy books of three monotheistic religions and for which there is no clear finding about its location until today, to the readers by following a very analytical and logical way through his protagonist.

This first novel seems to herald that the hero of the novel, Eren Dervish, will soon solve similar mysteries in other adventures.
